This article will provide information about the Odu known as Odi Meyi odu Ifa. Odi meyi is the fourth of the 16 Meji or 16 principle Odu.
Eji ogbe, oyeku meji, iwori meji and odi meji represent the 4 cardinal points; these cardinal points are symbolized on the opon ifa divination tray.

Oyeku meji representing the west where the sun sets; which is on the right side of the opon ifa divination tray
Iwori meji representing the north; which is symbolized on the top side of the opon ifa divination tray
And Odi meji representing the south; which is symbolized on the bottom side of the opon ifa divination tray
Odi meji describes the concept explained in the law of conservation of mass. All mass that currently exists in the universe cannot be created nor destroyed it is simply transferred or transitioned into different forms. This includes our physical selves.
Energy that traverses our physical selves also takes different forms. If you remember in Oyeku Meji, we spoke about how energy moves to and through us during the cyle of life and death. It is up to us how we leverage that energy for the good of ourselves and those around us.
Odi meji talks about rebirth and the process of being born again;
